150 Years of German Railways (DVD)

In 1955, a gigantic exhibition was staged in Nuernberg, the city where German railways first began some 150 years before. A series of parades was held, in which upwards of 70 locomotives and trains from all eras passed before huge crowds. On the lines which radiate from Nuernberg, special trains undertook tours hauled by veteran locomotives. It showed what their railway heritage was all about.
