Kathryn Grayson (Kiss Me Kate) and Gordon MacRae (Oklahoma!) capture the romance and splendor of one of the world's great operettas in the ravishing Technicolor treat The Desert Song. The 1926 Sigmund Romberg/Oscar Hammerstein 11 musical adventure has a special place in Warner Bros history: The studio made three versions, of which this 1953 edition is the last and most lavish.
