Antonio and Agostino grew up together in a small town in Sicily, dreaming of a better life somewhere else. Years later, they've lost touch, but when Antonio discovers the house he grew up in is to be sold at auction, he decides to leave. He reconnects with his childhood friend, but their lives have changed, and old conflicts and new revelations bring them through Europe on a truck journey.
