Based on a true story, Clara is a horror film about a 13-year old girl walled up in the family home by her father in the mid 19th-century. In modern times the haunted villa is inherited by Helen Ludovisi, the American niece of the owner. Helen and her boyfriend fly in from the States to restore Villa Clara.
